He was predeceased by: his son Jeffery Sampson (Felicia); his brother Donald Hall (Connie) of Mason City, IL; and his parents, Robert E. Sampson and Lorraine F. (late Richard Sr.). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Sampson; his children, Sherry Sampson of St. Peters, MO and Robyn Sampson; his stepsons, Donald Johnson (Jennifer) of St. Peters, MO and Daniel Johnson (Sean Yates) of Gray Summit, MO; his siblings, Tim Sampson (Carol Sandrowski) of St. Louis, MO, Janice Kindred (Brian) of Heyworth, IL and Richard Jr. Daughty (Janet) of Heyworth, IL; his sister-in-law Judy Daughty of Tallahassee, FL; his stepsisters, Sherry Vest of Festus, MO and Denise Wallace; and his aunt Patricia Collins.
