She was predeceased by: her husband Charles McCoy; her parents, Joshua Pate and Mary Pate; her children, Mary Floyd Raymond Mitts (Jake), Jane Schuster, John W. Mitts, Jr., William Edward Mitts and Susan M. Mitts; and her siblings, William Pate, Angus Pate, Joshua Pate (Sonny Boy), Martha Payne, Tiny Bell and Mary Turnbow.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Mitts, Cathy Deuser and Natacha Mitts (David McMeans). She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.
