He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Miller and Mary Miller; his son Michael; and his grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Kathryn Miller; his children, Kimberly Diel (Daniel), Kevin DeRoy and Kathy Liscombe (Mike); and his siblings, Wilfred Charles Miller Jr. and Mary Anne Stepetin.
