He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann McGee; and his parents, Bill McGee and Margaret McGee. He is survived by: his children, Karen Scott (Allen), Mike McGee and Brenda Noah (Robert); his grandchildren, Nick (Morgan), Ashley (Ali), Nathan, Nicolette, Jory and Alina; his great grandchildren, Landon, Colin and Kinsley; his brother Billy Michael McGee (Diane); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Brooks (late Jerry) and Barbara Langston.

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to Alzheimer's Association.
