With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Henry Kern (Saint Charles, Missouri), who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former spouse LaVerne Mae Kern; his parents, Allen Otto and Ella Emma Kern; and his sisters, Fern Thieman (late Harold), Marie Beck (late Lee) and Laura Reimann (late Gary).
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Kern (Julie), Steven Kern (Laura) and Daniel Kern (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Meagan Hillmann (Mark), Courtney Miller (Kevin), Adam Kern (Rosie), Stephanie Hardy (David), Matthew Kern, Joel Kern (Kara), Nathan Kern (Kristin), Tamara Hudson (Matthew), Janell Kalbac (John), Andrea Kern and Hanna Orf (Adam); his siblings, Raymond Kern (Margie) and Millie Freeman (late Dave); and his wife Vernie. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Norman's name to Zion Lutheran Church.
