She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow L. Shepard and Anne Helen Doty Shepard; her spouse Jerry L. Gilliam; and her sons, Donald Gilliam, Steven and Stewart Gilliam.

She is survived by: her siblings, William "Bill" Shepard (Kathy) of Slater, Elvis Shepard (Cindy) of Gilliam and Sandra Parkhurst of Sedalia.
