He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Brinker; his daughters, Kristin Brinker (Kelly Clark) and Courtney Dittmeier (Timothy); his grandchildren, Isla, Landon Clark, Jack and Bodhi Dittmeier; and his siblings, Judith Lammers (Donald), Donna Wildt (Emil), Richard Brinker (Janie) and Elaine Wingbermuehle (late George). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
