With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lesia Noreen Henderson- Carter of Saint Charles, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Henderson and Lee J. Brooks; her siblings, Barrett L. Henderson and Sharon L. Henderson; and her aunts, Mary Brooks-Alexander, Constance C. Brooks and Lesia.
She is survived by: her siblings, Anna M. Henderson of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Melody Henderson of Charlottesville, VA, Robert F. Henderson of Charlottesville, VA and Murrie L. Henderson (Glenda) of Ft Lauderdale, FL; her cousin Rydell Brooks (Tracy); and her close friend Rosal Cauthen of Washington, DC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (113 6th St NW, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Oak Union Baptist Church (2000 Owensville Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901).
