She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald S. Bruening; her parents, George Kolb and Virginia Kolb; her children, Karen L. Holub (John) and Kevin Bruening; and her siblings, JoAnn Russell (late Donald), Shirley Schoene (late Henry) and Bob Kolb.
She is survived by: her son Keith Bruening; her grandchildren, Jessica Murphy (Jesse), Kurt Bruening and Katie Bruening; her great grandchild Maverick Murphy; her brother Ted Kolb (Phyllis); her sister-in-law Marge Kolb; and also Brenda Bruening.
Memorials may be made in Joyce's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
