In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane (Moriarty); his daughter Suzanne Rodgers (Jared); his grandsons, Cyrus and Shane; his great grandchildren, Amani and Giovanni; his siblings, Joanne Webster (Dale), Randall Groff and Mark Groff (Julie); and his parents, Howard Groff and Peggy Groff. He was also cherished by 23 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
