He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Rabbitt and Josephine M. Rabbitt; and his son Robert. He is survived by: his wife Mary Eileen Deck Rabbitt; his children, David Rabbitt and Catherine Muckerman (Mark); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Ben), Stan, Christian (Lauren), Claire (Dallas), Helena and Erik; and his great grandchild Cerys.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Cletus (2705 Zumbehl Rd, St Charles, MO 63301).
Memorials may be made in John's name to Alzheimer's Association.
