She is survived by: her children, Karen Denison, Mike Lammers (Debbie), Pam Orf (Dan), Ken Lammers (Denise) and Doug Lammers (Charlene); her grandchildren, Andrew Lammers (Emily), Ben Orf, Paige Lammers (Jon), Brian Orf (Chin), Nathan Denison, Emily Lammers and Wesley Lammers; her great grandchildren, Margot, Luna, Dean and Lorelei; and her siblings, Margie Kolb (late Bob), Leonard Gittemeier (Kate), Eddie Gittemeier (Gayle), Dennis Gittemeier (Bonnie) and Carol Ann Fritzche (Tom).
Memorials may be made in Joan's name to American Heart Association.
