He is survived by: his children, Doug Ell (Robyn) and Shelley Armstrong (David); his grandchildren, Matthew Armstrong, Amelia Ell, Alexandra Armstrong and Avery Ell; his sister Sherrie Shelby (Bob); and his girlfriend Judy Brown.
