He was predeceased by: his grandson Brandon; his parents, James Wilferd and Thelma Wilferd; and his siblings, Jean, Dixie and Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Marcella Wilferd; his children, Terry Wilferd (Pamela), David Wilferd (Jan) and Todd Wilferd; his grandchildren, Ryan, Sean (Brittany), Zachary, Sarah, Nicholas and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Cole and Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Backstoppers, Inc.
