He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Deetman, and Peter A. Deetman, Sr.; and his sibling Willemien Deetman. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie R. Deetman; his children, Gregg Deetman (Tammy), Glenn Deetman (Kim), Brian Deetman (Jeanne), Lori Aley (Carl) and Liane Sargent (Jeff); and his siblings, Peter Deetman and Anne Marie Boone (Jon Heine).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in honor of Gerbrand to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
