He was predeceased by: his wife SuzAnne Owings; his siblings, Bob Owings and Caroline Armstrong; and his parents, Leon Owings and Elizabeth Owings.
He is survived by: his son Michael Owings (Jan); and his brother Grover Owings (Jane).
