He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Davidson and Earl Ashby, II; and his son Eric Ashby. He is survived by: his wife Janelle Marie Ashby; his sons, Jason Ashby and Marc Ashby (Megan); his grandchildren, Zach Ashby, Blake Ashby, Easton Ashby, Cooper Ashby and Canton Ashby; and his siblings, Jim Ashby, Bill Ashby, Cathleen Ashby, Christine Funk, Michael Ashby and Matthew Ashby.
