She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Bernard Punzo; her parents, Marvin Backhaus and Loretta Backhaus; her daughters, Natalie McClanahan (Dalton) and Christine Punzo; her grandchildren, Charles McClanahan and Gracie McClanahan; her siblings, Gary Backhaus (Barbara), Connie Condren (Steven) and Denise Cole (Chuck); and her nieces and nephews, Aaron Backhaus, Megan Gallegos (Nick), Danny Condren, Caitlin Cromien (Kevin), Madison Miller (Trevor), Drew Cole and Adam Backhaus.
Memorials may be made in Donna's name to in lieu of flowers, Five Acres Animal Shelter.
