It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Bernat of Saint Charles, Missouri, born in Black, Missouri, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Bernat; her sons, Dennis and David Bernat; her son-in-law Russell Ermeling; her granddaughter Katie Seay; and her parents, William Heitmann and Clara Heitmann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Ermeling, Nancy Seay and Tracy Bernat; her daughter-in-law Susie Bernat; her grandchildren, Scott (Kelly), Mike (Marissa), Matt Ermeling (Laura), Kevin (Cristy), Brian, Brad Seay, Zack (Beth), Nick (Jane), Cody Bernat (Erica), Kari Spaulding (Josh Finch), Kristi Fanger (Corey), Gabrielle Thornton (Alexander) and Danielle Wulfert (Nathan); her stepgranddaughters, Julie Brower (Matt) and Sarah Waltert (Ruedi); and her brother Wayne Heitmann (Esther). She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Delores's name to Alzheimer's Association or Immanuel Lutheran School and Church.
