He was predeceased by: his parents, Curly Thackwell and Jane Thackwell. He is survived by: his sister Janeen Makurat; his nieces, Kari Sloan and Amy Lawrence; his cousin Beth Ann Smith; and his pet Dior. He is also survived by many other cousins, many great and great-great nieces & nephews.
