He is survived by: his parents, Hobart Bodenhamer and Kathryn Bodenhamer of St. Charles; his siblings, Daniel Bodenhamer of Leonardville and Virginia Clardy (Ronald); his niece Adriene Avance; and his great-niece Danielle Bodenhamer of Kansas City. He is also survived by aunts, cousins and many friends.

Memorial donations may be made in David's name to local animal shelters.
