He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnes and Blanche Barnes; his sister Juanita Manning; and his brother-in-law Sonny Manning. He is survived by: his wife Margie Barnes; his sons, Charles E. Barnes, Jr. and Gregory A. Barnes (Sheri); his grandchildren, Kayde Werner (Jake), Meghan Barnes and Lauren Barnes; his great grandchild Landen Charles Wright; his siblings, John Henry Barnes, Jr. (Shirley), Lyle Barnes (Linda), Helen Summers (John) and Elaine Wright (Danny); and his nephew Jeff Manning. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
