She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Holt and Lena Holt; her granddaughter Morgan Vetter; and her siblings, Earl, Betty, Earlene and Donna.

She is survived by: her husband Robert A. "Tony" Vetter; her children, Annette Ehlmann (John), Rene Vetter and David Vetter (Kelly); her grandchildren, Ryan (Taylor), Eric Ehlmann (Ellisa) and Stephen Vetter; and her great grandchildren, Tucker and Aurora Ehlmann.

Memorials may be made in Carroll's name to National Kidney Foundation.
