She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Francis Gossow; and her parents, Dr. Eugene Joseph Canty and Dorothy Emmons Canty. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Lockhart (John) of Phoenix, AZ, Doug Gossow of St. Louis, MO and Amy Gossow of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren, Kate Jones (Derek), Olivia Boone (Christopher), Charlotte Lockhart, Benjamin Gossow, Cecilia Gossow, Josephine Gossow, Sterling VanRy and Jules VanRy; her great grandchild Nina Moon Jones; her brother Tom Canty; and her nephew Scott Canty.
