She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur W. Plackemeier; her parents, George C. Heitmann and Martha Heitmann (Faeth); her siblings, Orvey Heitmann (Kay) and Colleen Schaeper (Ray); her brothers-in-law, Roy Plackemeier (Audrey) and Maurice Plackemeier (La Verne); and her daughter Jane Klinghammer (Tom).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lash, Robert Plackemeier (Luanne) and Ellen Mercante (Joseph); and her grandchildren, Lucas Lash (Jenny), Kayla Queeney (Garrett), Jenna Hodges (Matt), Lacey Anderson (Tom), Elesha Klinghammer (James Fullerton), Buddy Maday (Rachel), Patty Little (Josh), Jim Plackemeier (Samantha), Andy Plackemeier (Anna), Laura Hoffmann (Nathan), Gennaro Mercante (Rose) and Gabriel Mercante. She is also survived by "Grammy" and "Aunt Babe" to her family.
