He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Burton; and his wife Virginia "Jenny" Burton. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Rust (Stephen) and Richard Burton, Jr. (Judy); and his stepchildren, Melissa Oprisko (Peter), Eric McVicker (Stacy) and Stephen McVicker. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
