It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaMyra Kern (Saint Ann, Missouri), who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping LaMyra's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gurley and Bessie Gurley (Klemens); and her brother John Gurley. She is survived by: her daughters, LeAnn Hefner (Kern) and Jill (Kern); her grandchildren, Blake Hefner, Greer Hefner, Emma Oetting and Lorelei Oetting; and her siblings, Harry Gurley, Mary (Gurley), Probst (Tom Probst) and Jim Gurley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (115 S 6th St, St Charles, MO 63301).
