He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Koenig Sr. and Kathleen Ward; his wife Ina Jo "Jody" Koenig; and his brother Tim Koenig. He is survived by: his son Scott Koenig (Sandy); his grandsons, Scott Koenig and Sam Koenig; his sister-in-law Patty Koenig; his nephew Sean Koenig; and his niece Stacy Davis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home (11101 St Charles Rock Rd, St Ann, MO 63074). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery (11101 St Charles Rock Rd, St Ann, MO 63074).
