He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur C. Humphrey and Elizabeth C. Crawford; and his brother Bruce Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Alice Humphrey; his sons, Raymond and Thomas; and his grandsons, Lewis and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald's memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
