He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Julia Smith (Porter); his siblings, John, Glen, Harold Smith, Betty Hodge and Laura Smith; his siblings-in-law, Ann Smith, Judy Smith and Tom Hodge; and his nephews, Mike and Jason.
He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Robb of Doniphan, Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Shirley Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
