He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Benton and Ann Marie Vance (Soper). He is survived by: his wife Marty Vance; and his children, Carrie DeValk (Ron) of Woodland Park, CO, Joseph Vance, Edward Vance, Andrew Vance and Amy Binkley (Brad). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
