He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burks and Mildred Burks (Crawford); and his siblings, Clarence Jr., Donnie, Beth, Eddie, Larry and Luther Burks.
He is survived by: his sons, Radd and Terrence Burks; his grandchildren, Olivia Burks, Stacy Pearman, Sabrina Burks and Andrew Hunot; his great grandchild Everly Pearman; and his siblings, John, Joe Burks, Dorothy McMahan and Kay Brown.
