He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Emery and Rose Emery; and his siblings, Susie Hamilton, Anna Davidson, Buck Eddrecht, Jack Hoople, Donnie Emery, Ernest Emery, Frank Emery, Merle Emery and Loyd Emery.
He is survived by: his significant other Norma Dame of Rushville, MO; his children, Vicky Kiehl (Carl) of Atchison, KS, Leslie Wise (Ed), Douglas M. Emery and William L. Emery II; and his siblings, Rosemary Schmelze, Marie Smith (Mitchel), Geraldine Glagebrooke (James), Georgia Stumbaugh (Jimmy) and Roy Emery (Marilyn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
