She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Zabel and Elizabeth Zabel (Tull); her brothers, Albert and Russell Zabel; and her close friend Bill Emery.
She is survived by: her son Paul (Tammy); her stepchildren, Rick Dame, Ronnie Dame of Omaha, NE, Kathy Elias of Atchison, KS and Janet Chapman of Atchison, KS; her sister Mary Elizabeth Miller of Arizonia City, AZ; her granddaughters, Jennifer Lentz (Bryan) and Paula Halling (Ryan) of Atchison, KS; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Leah Lentz, Emma and Rylee Halling.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran School Grant Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
