He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Louise (Jim Coffey) and Eugenia (Frank McQueen, Jr.); his wife Betty; his children, Jim, Judy and Bob; his grandchildren, Joel Turpin of Vienna, Austria, Anita Turpin of Vienna, Austria, Jessica Turpin Gachet (Alex) of Fribourg, Switzerland, Jeremy Turpin (Candi), Terri Troncin (Shane) and Gary Hand, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Lukas, Liam Glenn Turpin, Justin, Chloe Grace Gachet, Amy Turpin, Quinn, Logan Troncin and Michael James Turpin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the NKC First Christian Church.
