He was predeceased by: his parent Bobbie Phillips; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his mother Doris E. Phillips (Hockett) of Marceline; his daughters, Melissa Mauzey (Chris Chesher) of Bynumville, Ami Hunter, Mats of Lessebo and Sweden; his grandchildren, Lauren Mauzey of Macon, Garrett Mauzey of Mendon, Chelsea Niemeier (Mick) and Hannah Davis of Marceline; and his great grandchild Wacey Niemeier.
