He is survived by: his spouse Kathy Suzanne Steidel; his children, Teresa Cooper DeSpain (Lloyd) and Julie Cooper Enochs; his grandchildren, Preston, Devyn, Rebekah and Hunter; and his siblings, Joan Knapp (Roger), Dolores Reynozo (Richard), Charles L. Cooper and Susan Pashik. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
