She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ermeling and Hilda Ermeling (Moeller); her husband Richard Gerschefske; and her siblings-in-law, Milda Gerschefske, Helen Potwora, Louise Edna Hallenberger, Fred, Louis, Alvin Gerschefske, Roland Hallenberger and Frank Potwora.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Harvin (John) of Southaven and Kevin Gerschefske (Kendra) of Robertsville; her sister-in-law Geraldine Gerschefske of Owensville; and her granddaughter Kaitlin Harvin of Southhaven, Miss..
