He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Luhring and Iva Luhring (Hollandsworth); his daughter Joann Barringhaus; his great great grandchild Addi Floyd; and his sister Sylvia DeVault.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Crider; and his children, Gerry Bomback (Jack) of Owensville, Sharon Moyer of St. Charles, Debbie Bruner (Ron) of Foristell, Buddy Luhring (Nancy) of O'Fallon and Keith Luhring (Jen) of Old Monroe. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 27 great, great-grandchildren; and one great, great, great-grandchild.
