She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Krause and Helen Krause (Westholz); her husband Harlond J. Rice; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Rice (Barbara), Mildred Decker, Mary Rice and Norma Walters.

She is survived by: her son Daniel Joseph. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorials are requested for Immanuel Lutheran Church, School, or a cancer related charity.
