She was predeceased by: her father Roy Chasteen; her spouse Doyal Thorpe; her brothers, Willie, Gene and Bob Chasteen; her stepson Don Thorpe; and her granddaughter Tiffany Dougherty.
She is survived by: her son DeWayne Thorpe (Cindy Thorpe) of Rolla, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
