With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Thomas Prouty (Rolla, Missouri), who passed away on February 14, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Prouty and Evelyn Hodges Prouty Woods; his stepfather Oral Woods; his siblings, Robert Prouty and Shirley Gilmore; and his daughter Caren Joyce Spradling.
He is survived by: his wife Grace E. Perry; his son Gary (Donna) of Springfield, MO; his son-in-law Ronald Spradling of Rolla, MO; his grandchildren, Christy Gregorich (John), Jeana Bahr (Joe), Stephen Prouty (Caitlyn) of Springfield, MO and Patrick Prouty (Julie Nguyen); his great grandchildren, Brittany Pitzer (Tyson), Chelsea Gregorich, Justin Gregorich, Zachary Bahr and Lucas Bahr; and his siblings-in-law, Zella Lee Prouty of Eldon, MO, Carol Lavery of Largo, FL, Ann Gabriele (Gene) of Rolla, MO, Daniel Perry (Beverly) of Hot Springs, AR and Sherry Perry of Trumann, AR. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
