He was predeceased by: his parents, William Altemeyer and Amelia Altemeyer; and his wife Doris Kay Altemeyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Boatright and Shanna Wymore (Tim); his grandchildren, Tim Wymore (Ashley), Whitney Boatright, Derrell Roseman (Kelly), Ben Wymore and Cody Wymore (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Ashden Murphy, Mario Wymore, Jakob Murphy, Calahan Lee Wymore and Pearson Jay Wymore.

Memorials are suggested to the American Legion or the Missouri Dept of Conservation.
