With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia M Torbitt of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Opal Smith Clark (Dunn); her husbands, Carl Locklear, Calvin Hill and Lowell Torbitt; her brothers, Donald and Roy Smith; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Locklear and Rebecca Kletz.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Locklear of Wood River, IL, Joseph Locklear (Charlotte) of Bethalto, IL, Jeanne Locklear of Columbia, MO, Bessie Windle (Larry) of Rolla, MO, David Hill (Suki) of Belton, TX and John Hill of Portage, IN. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; other extended family members and dear friends.
Memorial contributions in Virginia's memory are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
