With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Lomax of Rolla, Missouri, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Lomax to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Edward and Jane Gott Zimmer (Garner); her brother Edward Roy Zimmer; and her daughter Amy Jane Hammer (Victor William Lomax). She is survived by: her son Craig Gordon Corley of Santa Monica, California; her nephew David Roy Zimmer of Rolla; her stepdaughter Lindsay Lomax Bagnall (Kent) of Rolla; and her stepgranddaughters, Hannah Bagnall of Sarasota and Lydia Bagnall of Kansas City, Kansas.. She is also survived by her many dog friends who were her faithful companions.
Due to covid restrictions, the funeral will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Rolla Animal Shelter Building Fund.
