He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred James Clarence Choate and Ruth Alberta Choate (Cates); his nephews, Aaron Lee Choate and Farron Lee Choate; and also Ruth.
He is survived by: his brothers, Edward Mack Choate and Delbert Loy Choate (Rita Jane); and his nieces and nephews, Adrian (Dewanna) of Climax Springs, Missouri, Desree' (Steve Kapica) of Fair Grove, Missouri, Myron (Cheryl) of Halfway, Missouri, Errol (Jill) of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Delbert, James Allen Choate of Laquey, Cynthia (John Stevenson) of St. Clair, Missouri and Rhonda (Michael Sneed) of Willard, Missouri.. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
