She was predeceased by: her father George Shatt; her grandmother Loretta Lancaster; her aunt Barbara Long; and her grandparents, William S. Shatswell and Goldie M. Shatswell.

She is survived by: her husband Scott Sterling of Rolla; her mother Juanita Shatt of Kansas City, MO; her children, Jesse Sterling of Rolla and Amber Watters (Richard) of Rolla; her sister Tiffany Gualtieri of Sugarland, TX; and her grandchildren, Trinity Rose and Lily Dawn. She is also survived by other extended family members and many dear friends.
