She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Centner and Rodney Centner. She is survived by: her friend Rev. Marcy Orr (Virginia); her husband Phil Rufe; her children, Franz G. Kindel, Karl C. Kindel (Elizabeth Sperry) and Julia J. C. Rufe (Dustin Taylor); her grandchildren, Hunter Kindel of St Charles, MO, Mia Sperry (Cody) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ezra Kindel of Rolla, Missouri, Gabriel Kindel of Rolla, Missouri, Pheobe Sperry of Rolla, Missouri and Marlea Kindel of Rolla, Missouri.; and her sister Linda DiPasquale (Mario) of Renton. She is also survived by four nieces, and numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
During the Covid pandemic she picked up an interest in gardening, raising vegetables and flowers on her back deck which the entire family enjoyed.
