It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Eugene Shoelen of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shoelen and Juanita Shoelen (Boothe); his wife Alice Palmer; his children, Tom and Debbie; and his nephew Denny Kocielko.
He is survived by: his sisters, Wilma Dean Larson (Deanie) of Illinois and Joyce Kocielko (Dennis) of Florida; his niece Terri Larson Herrlinger (Rich) of Wisconsin; and his nephews, Les Larson (Katy) of Illinois, Eric Larson of Illinois and Mike Kocielko (Shelley) of Illinois. He is also survived by other extended family, many special friends, and his church family.
