It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Maxine Hackworth (Rolla, Missouri), born in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Andrew Cosby and Lucille Maxine Cosby (Boring); and her spouse Johnnie Hackworth. She is survived by: her children, Donna Isbell of Hot Springs, AR, David Hackworth of Youngstown, OH and Koren Birkby of Rolla, MO; her sister Charlotte DeMarkowski of Toledo, OH; and her grandchildren, Deanna, Erica, Jennifer, Justin, Lucy, Abigail, Lizzy and Andy. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; other extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley's memory are suggested to the Veteran's Memorial Park in Rolla or the Russell House.
